1. EDUCATION AND DEVELOPMENT

We view education as a holistic process that develops academic knowledge and skills while helping students understand themselves, take responsibility for learning, think, question, create and continue learning throughout life.

Each student has a different learning style, interests, strengths and developmental needs. Our approach respects these differences, combines academic progress with social and emotional development and makes students active participants in learning.

Our Educational ApproachOur approach places students at the centre, values individual differences and connects learning with life. Students are encouraged to acquire, understand and question information, make connections and use what they have learned in real situations. Learning environments support research, enquiry, problem-solving, critical thinking, creativity, cooperation and communication.

Assessment and EvaluationAssessment makes progress visible and supports learning as well as identifying outcomes. Middle school examinations are designed to develop interpretation, analysis, synthesis, problem-solving and connections between ideas alongside recall. Assessment is therefore a continuous tool that guides and improves learning throughout the process.

Development ReportsWe consider learning attitudes, social relationships, responsibility, class participation and personal development alongside academic achievement. Monitoring progress helps us recognise needs early, provide timely support and help students become aware of their own development.

2. GUIDANCE AND PSYCHOLOGICAL COUNSELLING

Our holistic guidance and counselling services help students understand themselves, discover their potential, cope with difficulties and make sound decisions in different areas of life. We monitor social, emotional, personal and career development alongside academic progress. This reflects the developmental and preventive approach used in contemporary guidance practice.

Our Holistic Guidance ApproachEvery student has unique characteristics, needs, interests and a pace of development. We consider intellectual, social, emotional, behavioural and academic development together. Alongside helping resolve difficulties, we develop coping skills and resilience for future challenges.

Understanding Students and Monitoring DevelopmentAcademic, social, emotional and personal development are monitored regularly throughout the year. Teachers and psychological counsellors observe classroom behaviour, learning, friendships, responsibility and needs to build a holistic understanding of progress.

Our Guidance and Counselling ActivitiesGuidance and counselling activities are planned around students’ developmental stages and needs and delivered systematically throughout the year. Areas of work include:

  • Classroom guidance activities,
  • Individual guidance meetings,
  • Group activities,
  • Psychoeducation and awareness activities,
  • Activities supporting academic progress,
  • Exam preparation and coping with test anxiety,
  • Time management and study skills,
  • Motivation and goal setting,
  • Emotional regulation and self-control,
  • Communication and peer relationships,
  • Problem-solving and decision-making,
  • Developing social and emotional skills,
  • Career guidance and planning for the future.

Parent–Teacher–Student CooperationA healthy school–family partnership provides strong support for student development. Communication between parents, teachers, psychological counsellors and students builds a shared understanding of progress. We value parents’ active participation and communicate regularly to maintain a consistent, supportive approach at school and at home.

Student Assessment ToolsWe draw on different sources to build an accurate, comprehensive understanding of each student. These include observations, interviews, student and parent views, teacher assessments, developmental monitoring, self-assessment and appropriate individual assessment techniques.
Tools and methods include:

  • Objective and projective tests,
  • Individual interviews,
  • Attention and perception tests,
  • Multiple intelligences inventory,
  • Sociometry,
  • Developmental assessment tools,
  • Self-assessment forms,
  • Interest and aptitude inventories,
  • Study behaviour assessment scales,
  • Sentence completion tests.

This approach gives us a rounded understanding of each student, beyond a single assessment result, and helps us provide support suited to their individual development.

3. VALUES EDUCATION

Values education supports human, social and moral development alongside academic progress. We aim to nurture empathetic, thoughtful and capable individuals who respect differences and take responsibility for themselves, their environment, living things and society.
Each month, an age-appropriate value is explored through our “Value of the Month” programme. Classroom work, guidance activities, social responsibility projects and everyday examples connect the value to students’ experiences, helping them understand, practise and reflect it in their behaviour.

4. CLUBS AND TRIPS

We offer learning experiences that help students discover and develop themselves in science, culture, the arts and sport alongside their academic studies. Clubs and trips help them recognise their interests and talents, try new fields, develop social skills and connect classroom knowledge with real life.

Clubs provide active learning spaces where students can express themselves and demonstrate different abilities beyond academic work.

5. ACHIEVEMENTS, AWARDS AND CERTIFICATES

We support academic, scientific, artistic, sporting and social achievements as key outcomes of our educational model. We believe that national and international competitions, scientific projects, clubs and social responsibility work strengthen students’ confidence, motivation and personal growth.

6. PARENT–TEACHER–STUDENT COOPERATION

We believe that sustainable, transparent cooperation between school, family and student is fundamental to development. Personal growth extends beyond school and calls for a consistent approach, shared goals and regular communication among all partners.

Our school–family partnership goes beyond sharing information: we jointly analyse developmental needs and create holistic support. Parents, teachers and students are three complementary partners in our educational community.

Parent–Teacher Consultation TimesRegular meeting schedules support systematic monitoring of academic and personal progress. Parents can request individual appointments during teachers’ weekly consultation hours. Meetings consider academic outcomes, classroom attitudes, social interaction, personal responsibility and developmental needs.

Regular Updates and CommunicationWe use institutional communication channels to keep teaching and learning transparent and well coordinated. Academic and social activities, project announcements and newsletters are shared through regular weekly parent communications.

Individual Parent MeetingsIndividual parent meetings scheduled each term offer a rounded assessment of student development. Parents receive detailed feedback on academic progress, learning performance, participation, peer relationships and individual potential.

7. MIDDLE SCHOOL LIFE AND FACILITIES

Classrooms and Physical SpacesOur modern, interactive learning spaces support a student-centred approach. Facilities are planned to enable close monitoring and individual guidance:

  • The middle school has 16 modern classrooms.
  • To support effective learning, class sizes are limited to a maximum of 24 students.
  • Each classroom offers 36 m² of space, creating a comfortable and spacious learning environment.

School TimetableMiddle school teaching takes place from 09:15 to 17:10. The daily schedule balances a demanding academic programme with physical, social and rest needs.

MealsHealthy, balanced meals support intellectual and physical development. Lunch and an afternoon snack are provided within the daily timetable, meeting hygiene and nutritional standards.

School Uniform and BelongingStandard school uniform supports order, equality and a shared sense of belonging. It helps students identify with the school and feel part of a common learning community.

Admissions and Student AssessmentOur admissions process considers each prospective student’s development as a whole and their fit with our educational approach, alongside academic attainment:

  1. Application and Appointment: The application completed by prospective parents enables initial contact and the scheduling of an interview.
  2. Academic Placement and Individual Assessment: Prospective students’ academic attainment is evaluated through placement assessments, while the guidance team observes social and emotional development, learning style and adjustment.
  3. Assessment and Enrolment: Parents receive comprehensive feedback, and enrolment is completed in light of the assessment.

The aim is to understand each student’s academic and social-emotional characteristics as a whole and support a positive start to school life, rather than categorising them by a single test result.
