Parents, teachers and students work together to help students make the most of their learning environment, understand and develop themselves, make decisions and build problem-solving skills. Our aim is healthy development across intellectual, physical, social and emotional domains. Social, personal, preventive and developmental guidance is provided systematically.
At the beginning of each academic year, students agree their own class-level School Agreements with the guidance of their teachers and work with everyone sharing the learning environment to follow them. This helps students internalise responsibility and develop self-regulation.
Tests and questionnaires used with students:
D2 Attention Test
Test anxiety assessment
Questionnaire on reasons for academic difficulty
Career interest inventory
Academic self-concept inventory
“Who Is This?” peer assessment
STUDENT MONITORING: GUIDANCE AND COACHING A coach teacher is a subject teacher who follows students’ academic progress, relationships with family, peers and teachers, and classroom behaviour. Coaching helps identify academic and behavioural changes promptly and supports cooperation with families.
Throughout the year, students receive observation and support from their guidance counsellor as well as monitoring and regular meetings with their coach teacher. Coach teachers and guidance counsellors share updates with parents and students at regular intervals.
